VeriFactu for restaurants: your till, checked and compliant

With VeriFactu for restaurants, the obligation falls on the till that issues your tickets. I check whether yours is ready before your 2027 deadline, I tell you in writing, and if there's work to do I handle it so you end up compliant.

Everyone tells you a different date

Bars and restaurants hear every version of it: that the deadline was another year, that it's already postponed, that your software "must be fine". What actually binds you is the regulation: there are dates in force and changes that are only announced so far.

And there's a more everyday problem: many vendors can't tell you whether the system they sold you complies. There is a simple way to find out, and I can check it with you.

What's included in your VeriFactu check-up

  • A review of your current till: which system you use, which version, and where it stands.
  • Requesting and reading the manufacturer's declaration: system, producer, version and mode.
  • A verdict in writing: compliant, not compliant or pending a version, with the source in front of you.
  • If it complies: I leave it configured and verified. If not: I present your options and manage the switch.
  • Follow-up: if the official rules move the deadlines, I recalibrate whatever is needed and let you know.

You see your VeriFactu check before you pay

We don't show clients or public demos yet, and we won't make them up. What we do is build a sample site for your business before you pay anything. If it's not for you, there's no obligation to continue.

Questions about VeriFactu

What is VeriFactu, in practice?

A requirement of the Spanish invoicing rules: the computer systems that issue invoices must meet conditions and, in the VERI*FACTU mode, send their records to the Tax Agency. In a bar, the obligation falls on the till.

When does it apply to me?

The dates in force come from the regulation: before January 2027 for companies and before July 2027 for everyone else, including the self-employed. The postponement to October 2028 has been announced by the Tax Ministry but has no published rule yet: until then, the 2027 dates govern.

How do I know if my till complies?

By asking the manufacturer for the compliance declaration and checking system, producer, version and mode. The blog's VeriFactu guide walks you through the three checks, with the official sources.

What if my till doesn't comply?

First, ask whether an adapted update exists and when it would arrive. If it doesn't or they give no date, it's time to weigh up the switch with time to spare: exactly what I manage in this service.

How much does it cost?

It depends on your till and on what needs doing: we set the price case by case and send it in writing. No lock-in: cancel whenever you want.
